Ah, yes. “think positive.” I forgot about that one and, “I’m sure you’ll be fine,” is another, and I hope people don’t say those things about cancer and diabetes. I wish they didn’t say it about depression.
I find that the number “of steps” some work for some people and others work for others. It’s trial and error. I have a “coping toolbox,” of things that have worked for me over the years but they don’t always work every time.
