This publication hasn’t many followers yet, but I would like to open up submissions for poetry. For myself, I feel poetry is an awe-inspiring intermission from the everyday grind and also allows for critical thinking and learning about oneself. If you’re interested in sharing your poetry please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will add you as a writer.

A field Guide for Immersion Writing, written by Robin Hemley. This book is packed full of information for writers interested in memoir, journalism and travel writing. I couldn’t put it down. The Creative Guide to Research: How to Find What You Need Online and Offline, written by Robin Rowland is a thinking outside the box research guide. Published in 2000 it’s a bit outdated but the majority of the links I checked out from the book are still up and thriving. It also includes research strategies, interviewing techniques and networking for writers. It’s not something I would read cover to cover. It’s more of a tool when you need it.
