“Greetings from Iowa: Life in Rural America,” is scheduled to launch on March 6, 2017. The super cool thing about my project is not only will I record our tour across Iowa in print but you will be able to take the journey with us every step of the way with updates, photos and videos right here on Medium or you can follow along directly on the campaign website.
Here are a few ways you can help ensure my journalism project takes off running out of the gate.
- You can contribute to my Kickstarter campaign ←by clicking on that link. The campaign will be open until March 6th, which just happens to be the same day my project launches.
What’s in it for you?
An amount contributed starting at $1 and up will receive acknowledgement in my literary journalism book about life in Rural America. That means anyone that makes any contribution will receive acknowledgement.
$100 will receive a personalized thank you from me delivered to you via snail mail.
$250 will receive a dinner basket from me to you, delivered right to your front door.
$500 will receive a copy of the first draft via snail mail, with makings and notes to beta read before printing.
2. Whether or not you choose to contribute you can check out these awesome Iowa travel websites and make suggestions on where you would like my family and I to visit. Your suggestions will definitely be added to our list of adventures and the virtual updates will be as if you were right there with us.
