Fantastic feedback! I feel the same about a home. Perhaps it’s my age, though I don’t remember ever wanting a (spontaneous?) or (limited?) lifestyle. I’m not sure the word I’m looking for. I suppose limited is a poor choice but at the same time I see traveling the world, or whatever more so being trapped than freedom. Always on someone else’s terms or no terms to work with at all.
The home is where roots are. It’s safety and shelter when I need it most. It’s family and a spaced filled with unconditional love. We own a camper and take weekend getaways around Iowa, for now but once retirement comes we will most likely start crossing the state line. Again, though. Even the camper is a factual home away from home.
