I agree that a lot of us do get caught up with the number of fans we have. For me I think “successful” is quality over quantity. I don’t want a bazillion followers. I just want a tribe that enjoys my work.

It’s true, the haters can be louder or stand out more but I think it’s only if we let them, you know? That’s why I say, they don’t have to like me work. It’s all good because how I react to it is on me. I’m the only one I’m responsible for, and I’d like to think that even if everyone in the world thought my writing and art sucks I’d still create it.
