I can only speak from my experience and the tools I use to get through challenging times.
I have a crisis plan in place with my counselor and a back up. If she isn’t available or I’m unable to reach her I go to my primary care doctor’s office and sit in the waiting room so I’m not alone. They are aware of my crisis plan and are totally on board with it.
I don’t know where you live but I’m sure you can Google a help line to call or an online web address to chat. This one is huge for me. I can utilize it 24/7 when I need to talk or even when I haven’t any words to say and just need someone to be there. I have the help line information on my kitchen cabinet and the number saved in my cell phone.

This are only small steps that aid in the moment. A treatment plan has been the best route for me and although I haven’t found much connection with psychiatric medication prescribers I have with regular individual counseling and groups.
I’m not saying these have been a cure all for me but the most significant thing I can do when I’m feeling this way is to reach out and these resources are always there for me when I do.
You’re in my thoughts.
