It does, and even if we choose to tune it out we’re still effected by it. It still creeps in somehow. There is literally no escape, yes — we can reduce it but never are we 100% free of it. I say this because I did do it, but my husband didn’t so it still had an impact on me, just not directly. If that makes sense. I also can’t help but overhear a conversation at work or in a coffee shop. You’re in the book store and it’s the cover of every national magazine wallpapering the walls.
Even if we completely shut technology out, we still can’t escape it. It’s there, in our faces, every day of our lives.
