This is a rather intense subject/ question and I am intrigued by your thought process.
I hadn’t thought of this at all. I think our family as a whole couldn’t image a life without her first guitar in it, even if he is now a relic in our living room where we still see him in our every day environment.
I can’t answer for my daughter, but if it were me I think i’d hold on to it and pass it down to my child and so on as it’s a part of her history. Although, I also grew up in a time where uploading videos to YouTube wasn’t a thing and I think that causes the physical object to lose its sentimental value.
