This is exactly the description of my marriage. I even had my husband read it and he agrees.

Marriage isn’t simply defined as a legally binding contract. It takes so much more than that and it is a personal choice. I never thought I was the marrying type. I made it until my forties believing this to be true but my husband proved to me (not convinced me) that we are lovers and best friends, and that the definition of marriage has absolutely nothing to do with legally binding contracts. That term is just a label.

I get it. There’s people who will change and decide they can’t stand each other, people who cheat and- or people who will shit on you.

My advice on that to everyone in the world- don’t marry those people, folks.
