This is so true. I wrote a story recently about discontinuing our internet service. When I suggested to my family that we do so my kids (17 and 22 years old) acted the same way as I imagine someone having an ax driven through their forehead would. They don’t know of a world without the internet and constant communication. It made me think of a time when it didn’t exist. We’ve had access to the internet and so much technology for so long I had almost forgotten about a time when we didn’t.
