We have three separate areas of three square feet. They are divided by the amount of sunlight they need. Vegetables are in full sun, fruit has sun 3/4 of daylight and herbs are partial. The book has some crazy cool ideas. You can plant anything in the smallest of spaces and it recommends the smaller the space the better growth. So far it’s working out well. We started with seeds and they’re all sprouting. There are a lot of Japanese beetles, which I’ve heard are bad for the garden so I picked up some beetle sticks that ward them off. As far as bunnies, squirrels, gofers, birds or anything like that we have eight cats and nothing gets past them. Even our neighbor’s dog is scared to come on our property. The cats aren’t vicious but they kind of got this if you mess with one of them you mess with all of them thing going and I think just their presence as a lot to do with it.
